Taste Vinohrady with us!

Vinohrady, the original Royal Vineyards, is one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Prague and very popular among the locals to go to eat and drink. During this tour, you will get a chance to taste our grannies’ apple or poppy seed strudels at small family bakery. We will visit popular restaurants and taste several Czech dishes prepared in both the traditional and modern way. You will sample real Czech bread in the most traditional way – with butter and salt, followed by special version of beef tartar - with truffles and typical beer food “tlacenka”. From the main courses, you will taste roasted pork and beef cheeks. Tasting will be accompanied by different types of Czech beer, Czech Slivovitz and the traditional Becherovka. As a dessert you will taste the typical Czech warm sweets - potato dumpling and popular “venecek” from one of the best pastry-cooks in Prague. We will also have a little wine-tasting session in our favorite wine bar.

is a very beautiful district with many pleasant parks, popular among Prague residents. As soon as the weather warms up, you can meet them here having picnics, playing games, walking their dogs or just sitting on the grass drinking a beer. Thanks to its many newly reconstructed historical and Art Nouveau houses, green spaces and wide streets, Vinohrady is not only a popular place to live for both locals and foreigners, it is also a meeting place for people from all over Prague. People are attracted by local cultural events and places, as well as by its colorful gastronomic scene – you can find here garden restaurants with good views over the city, restaurants with Czech cuisine as well as ethnic gastronomy from all around the world, popular cafés and little shops with national and imported products.
